By Lynn Jones – Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter (BAZ) inducted two news sisters into their chapter. Joining the industrious chapter were Pauline Tucker and Deshondra L. Brown. Zeta Phi Beta was founded on the campus of Howard University of January 16, 1920 and is preparing for their 2020 centennial. Locally, the chapter’s impact includes initiatives on Elder Care, the Zeta Prematurity Awareness Program (ZPAP), Adopt-A-School and Storks Nest, the 40-year-old partnership between Zeta Phi Beta and March of Dimes annual Walk for Babies.
