Zeta Phi Beta Soror Nadine Kohn – Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter Peaceful Transition

Soror Nadine Kohn (BAZ)
The Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter, Inc. of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, the Southeastern Region, laments the loss of soror sister Nadine Williams Kohn. Kohn passed away peacefully, December 19, 2020.  Nadine was a native of Jacksonville, Florida.  She attended the local schools of Duval County and graduated from New Stanton Sr. H.S. – class of 1964. She furthered her studies and matriculated to Edward Waters College earning a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Education. Kohn was employed for 32 yrs with the Duval County School System and earned the title of Outstanding Educator before she retired. Soror Kohn was a faithful member of St Stephen’s AME Church, where she served as a trustee, a member of the United Mass, The Isaac Holback and the R. V. Webster Choirs. She was a 50+ year member and past Basileus of  Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter, Inc.,  she served as the first director of the Zeta Male Network on the National level, and she was a  chartered member of the undergrad Mu Gamma Chapter, May 1, 1967.
Soror Kohn was predeceased by her parents Julius and Mrs. Olivia Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles H. Kohn, Sr., 6 sons, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grands, and a number of other family members and friends.
