The Royal Vagabond Club continued their support of local nursing facilities by delivering 90 personal gift bags to residents inside the Jacksonville Center for Rehabilitation located on Moncrief Rd.  For four years, the organization’s team hand select personal hygiene/toiletry items to bring holiday cheer and surprise senior residents.

Formed in 1928, the Royal Vagabonds was incorporated in 1948, as a social and civic organization. The club was organized by professional men in the community with the desire to have a positive presence in the community. The two events that drive Royal Vagabond fundraising efforts are their annual Golf Tournament and Valentines Sweetheart’s Ball. Now numbering close to fifty members, the Vagabonds vow to continue to make a difference in the community and the lives of people of color.
