There’s a new hot spot located in downtown Jacksonville! Breezy Jazz Club opened last week to a VIP crown of local journalist, jazz enthusiasts, artist and disc jockeys. Headlining the menu were creative tapas, cocktails and entertainment from saxophonists, jazz and soul singers. The evening was complete with a red carpet entrance and colourful art work adorning the walls. Owners Thea Jeffer and her husband Jeff greeted each patron and enthusiastically spoke to the crowd on the grand openings vision, “I’ve always wanted a Jazz club. It took a little time to convince my husband that we could do this. Jacksonville is in need of a place to relax after work with some jazz and good music. We hope everyone enjoys and come back for more,” said Jeffers. Beezy’s is open during the week and for brunch on Sundays from 10 – 3 p.m. Shown l-r is Breezy staff members Tanyika Armstrong, Susan Appleton, owners Thea and Jeff Jeffers.
