Tedx returned for their 10th year with diverse speakers igniting and inspiring the audience with personal experiences and stories of faith, hope and resurrection. The theme was ‘Friction.’ Speakers dialogued on how friction can be good, bad, indifferent and can encounter resistance depending on the recipient or the subject matter.
On stage were some of Jacksonville’s leading thinkers, speaking for 18 minutes or less to formulate their spirit of discussion. The engaging discussion ranged from a team of Black cuba divers searching for the wrecks of slave ships to community health, arts, culture and wellness advocacy.
The goal of Tedx events is to present live speakers and set fire to deep discussions and connections.
