Smooth jazz/R&B/funk musician and producer Brian Culbertson was back in Jax for a sold out concert inside the Florida Theatre. Culbertson and his band took over the stage with a musical chair of instruments that included the synthesizer, piano and drums. Fans swayed and clapped to the hits capitalizing on the aura of the atmosphere and jazz collaborations. Culbertson has received numerous awards including a 2012 NAACP Image Award nomination for Best Jazz Album and the 2012 Soul Train Award nomination for Best Contemporary Jazz Artist.
