Paxon High School recently celebrated Underclassmen Awards Night, honoring two students, per grade level selected by faculty as outstanding examples of the words found on Paxon’s school crest, “excellentia, constantia, integritas, and caritas,” defining the school’s cardinal virtues of guidelines for success.
Student Asia Barlow received the Constantia award which focuses on perseverance and steadiness and the mantra that education is not a sprint; it is a marathon.
Paxon student Lauryn Feacher received the Excellentia award lauding excellence in comparison to others. Both students will pursue college degrees to further their education. Show are underclassmen awardees Asia Barlow and Lauryn Feacher.
