Defense Logistics Agency Jacksonville (DLAJ) held its 4th annual ‘Pile Up the Pony Toys for Tots,’ collection drive. This year, the team donated and distributed 422 toys to underserved children from their Naval Air Station warehouse bunker. The spirited campaign for a deserving cause team supervised the mountain of presents inside the ‘Pony’ Ford mustang, while assembling the toys to culminate the events activities. A percentage of the Christmas items were distributed to mothers whose husbands are deployed; children in the surrounding naval base neighborhood community and social service agencies. DLA is the central hub for the South East Region of the United States supporting a wide variety of customers from the Department of Defense to perform depot maintenance on aircraft engines and other electronic components to teams that travel worldwide to assist air squadrons and other units requiring aircraft maintenance, modification and repair work.
