NAACP Holds Open House for New Member Advocacy and Educational Values

The Jacksonville Branch NAACP held a Saturday afternoon open house at its headquarters inside the Beaver Street Enterprise Center (BSEC) to provide information about the work of the local branch which is part of the oldest and largest civil rights organization in the world. During the Open House, the participants celebrated 114 years of the NAACP fighting against racism and discrimination in communities across the country. With a membership drive in effect, the chapters goal is 1,000 members by May 1st.
