Last month, Historic Mt. Zion AME Lois J. Roberts Allenites sponsored a sold out bus trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina raising over 4k for the Mt. Zion building fund. The Lois J. Roberts Allenites club has been in existence for over 50 years and is named after member and Deaconess Lois Roberts. Roberts’s tireless efforts including raising funds for the church bazaar, building fund and families in need. Historic Mt. Zion will celebrate 151 years serving the Jacksonville Community this year.
