Mayo Clinic Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Hilton Hotel

To mark the commencement of construction for the new Hilton Hotel at Mayo Clinic, representatives from Mayo Clinic in Florida, Concord Hospitality Enterprises, Whitman Petersen and Hilton held a groundbreaking ceremony at the construction site on the Mayo Clinic campus.

The new Hilton will offer patients and visitors a premiere hospitality experience, an eight-story Hilton Hotel with 252 guest rooms will begin construction in the summer of 2023 with completion expected in 2025. Construction will occur near the newly built J. Turner Butler Boulevard entrance to Transformation Way. The hotel will offer guests personalized service, elevated accommodations and amenities such as a fitness center, on-site restaurant, and indoor and outdoor meeting spaces conveniently located within a few hundred yards of Mayo Clinic facilities.

The 179,000-square-foot hotel becomes the fourth active construction site at Mayo Clinic. Other projects include a 225,000-square-foot integrated oncology building, a five-floor patient bed tower expansion to the hospital, and a central utilities plant.
