The well known breakfast restaurant named Keke’s is now expanding their base to Northeast Florida with locations in Duval and Clay County. Entering the colorful Atlantic Blvd location, the décor brightness and concierge ‘let me seat you’ smiles ready you for their expansive menu. My guest and I taste tested the waffles and chicken combo, French toast, turkey/pork bacon, fruit bowl, toast, fried potatoes, veggi omelet and some of those light, airy and fluffy pancakes. Our palates were aroused with mini Mimosas stimulating a flavorful delightful and bubbly experience! Area Operations Leader, Steven Decker provided the rundown on Keke’s corporate history and the excitement of being the eclectic breakfast new kid on the block!
“I’ve been in the corporate segment for 12 years, and was excited for this opportunity for growth and got in on the ground level and I’m helping realize the company’s vision,” smiled Decker. The locations friendly staff greets you with morning smiles, while the waiters/servers scurry through the aisles greeting their customers and offering the best deals and options on the menu. “Keke’s was founded on fresh. It’s in our DNA, our building plan, fresh cracked eggs every day, real butter and sourced ingredients from Florida which reflects our menu. Our company wanted fresh ingredients and to be a part of neighborhoods and the community and differentiate ourselves with portion sizes and our customer service.”
Proudly doting on her staff, General Manager Erika Nunez stopped by our table with a morning hello, and her cheerful smile, which must be an application requirement, as the entire team shone a bright light to ensure they see us in the future!
