The Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and the Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc., Black and White Ball signature gala was held this past weekend at the Omni Hotel in downtown Jacksonville.
Hundreds of fraternity members and friends attended the ball in celebration of the crimson and cream. The event raised funds to build a new Kappa Community Center that will enhance the lives of the youth of Northwest Jacksonville. The Community Center will be the gateway to mentor and tutor youth in leadership skills and career development in addition to being available to the community.
The Center will be built on the existing property grounds of Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. located on Moncrief Rd. This year’s theme for the Ball was, Supporting Our Community – Building Our Future. The chapters mantra and essential component in building their future is their investment in training youth for leadership.
Shown at the Ball is Kappa Alpha Psi member Ephraim Riggins with his wife Victoria Riggins. For more visit www.jacksonvillekappas.com.
