Inaugural Jacksonville Image Awards Honors Community Change Agents

To recognize the accomplishments of individuals that have a positive impact on the community, the Jacksonville Image Awards, an inaugural awards show sponsored by the Cochran Firm was recently held at the Ritz Museum. Hundreds of nominations were submitted and thousands of votes cast for the black tie event that culminated in a gala evening of celebration and achievement. Many of the awardees were chosen for overcoming obstacles, proposing changes to enhance and enrich the world, making impacts in the community to inspire change and presenting avant-garde ideas and improvement of the educational system.
Awardees honored include: Donte Palmer (The ‘Be The Change’ Award); Nicole Thomas (The Pinnacle Award), Taylor Richardson (The ‘One To Watch’ Award); Mr. Moses Evans (The Music Excellence Award); Victor Chrispin Jr. (The Innovator Award) and Patricia Gillum Sams (The Trailblazer Award). Shown is The Education Excellence Award winner Deborah Mosley Norman with niece Denitra Jay and Husband Ervin Norman. This award recognizes outstanding commitment to the academic development and improvement of a system or community in an effort to enhance the lives of future generations.
