Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront recently hosted a family friendly “Heroes Day” to meet and greet with local first responders, visit pop up shops from local minority owned companies, while enjoying unique dishes from local food trucks. In addition, visitors received face paintings and were entered into a raffle with the chance to win multiple prizes. The first 100 people at the event received a special swag bag with goodies. Participants also patronized local food trucks while honoring local heroes, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. Families met and greeted local first responders including the local SWAT team, Mounted Units, K9 Units, Bicycle Units, and checked out the SUVs and Cruisers on site.  The Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront offered free treats to kids 12. “As our hotel has officially reopened, we are thrilled to host a special family-friendly event celebrating our local community here in Jacksonville,” said Joe Hindsley, General Manager at Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.  Shown seated l-r is Mary Basil, Alisa Ray and Beverly Jones honoring first responders inside their memory vendor table.
