Gullah Geechee Festival Preparing to Enlighten City with Low Country’s Best

The Jacksonville Gullah Geechee Nation Community Development Corporation is busy planning it’s 6th Annual Gullah Fest. This years event is scheduled in the heart of the community on Saturday, October 15th, at Charles Boobie Clarke Park located at 8793 Sibald Road. All families, groups, churches, schools and other organizations are invited to attend. The festive cultural event blending art and cuisine will include low country cooking, smoked mullet, fine music and “tellin’ we stories!”
