FLA JAX Continue Legacy of Giving

Currently celebrating the 92nd Year of Service, The FLAJAX Club recently presented a donation to the Jacksonville, Florida Chapter’s National Naval Officers Association’s Scholarship Fund (NNOA). The NNOA is committed to the personal and professional development of sea service officers as well as improving relations and educational opportunities for students in the local community. The FLAJAX Club was established in 1930 by a group of successful and prominent African American businessmen and leaders in the community.  The founders intended for the club to be a club of dignity and integrity, to have fun, and enjoy themselves as a social club and yet be concerned about civic duties and responsibilities. Its founding principles were leadership, integrity and fidelity.

“The club has been on the front line for years serving our community and ensuring that scholarships are offered to deserving students,” said Club President James Andrews.
