Faith F. (Farber) Smith, 96 years of age died on Monday October 21, 2019 at her residence in Carlisle, PA with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 31, 1923 in Altoona, PA to the late Clarence H. and Grace E. Kimmel Farber and was the widow of the late Thomas F. Smith. Faith is survived by her son, John M. (Elizabeth) Smith of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Barbara (Wayne) LaMont of New Bloomfield, PA, and her sister, Carol Unsworth of Royal Oaks, MI. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Dr. Carlisle, PA. There will be a visitation at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Burial will be private in Grandview Cemetery, Altoona, PA. In lieu of flowers memorials in Faith’s name may be made to the National World War II Memorial, 1964 Independence Ave. SW, Washington, DC 20227.
