This weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs will go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to battle for the 2020 NFL season championship crown. Super Bowl LV will be played in Tampa Bay, Florida, at Raymond James Stadium, the fourth time in league history the Super Bowl will take place in the same state in back-to-back years.
The Bucs will be the designated home team and have chosen to rock the white jerseys they wore when defeating the New Orleans Saints in the Divisional Round and the Green Bay Packers during their current postseason run.
Speaking of the Bucs, who carried the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their first NFC championship since 2002 will become the first player ever to win seven NFL championships if they pull through with the win. “I had an opportunity to become a free agent. I evaluated different opportunities and just tried to make the best possible decision for myself and my family. I chose Tampa, and it’s just been an amazing experience,” Brady said during a press conference last week.
Super Bowl LV will be played on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM EST and will be broadcasted on CBS, the second time in three seasons the network will host the Super Bowl. The game will also be available to watch on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App for free.
