Dr. Landon Williams, beloved pastor and community trustee, passed on June 16, 2021 after a brief illness. He was 85. Dr. Williams was the head pastor of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church of the Northside for 41 years. A celebration of the pastors life will be held on Friday, June 25th at 6 p.m. EST for the wake and Saturday June 26th at 11 a.m. ET for the funeral. Both services will be held at the church located at 1880 W. Edgewood Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida, 32208. Services will also be streamed on Facebook. Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
