Dine En Blanc Delights Patrons for a Purpose with Elegance

Continuing a tradition that began more than 35 years ago in Paris, more than 1,000 guests attended Jacksonville’s fourth editoin of 4th edition of Le Diner en Blanc. Themed  “Dining on Cloud Nine” the all-white soiree was held at Metropolitan Park.  The evening included a mix of elegance with a purpose, guests were privy to a hot air balloon, full size globe to take pictures in; a champagne toast and Jaguars Roar cheerleaders with portions of the proceeds donated to Feeding Northeast Florida nonprofit which will feed 3,000 families.

Attendees must wear all white and bring their own food which they select themselves.  With designated tables, “table leaders” are responsible for informing guests of the secret location and serving as the evenings host.

“Each year we look forward to highlighting our table, visiting with friends,” said table leader and four year attendee Mariel Foster.
