DivaStylez Girlfriends Sisterhood Inc. recently received a generous donation of $15,000 for program operations from Enterprise Rental Car, on Atlantic Blvd., for their newly formed subsidiary Princess & Company, Inc.
The 15k will be utilized for scholarships for high school seniors, workshop materials and administrative fees. The organization is a non-profit serving young girls ages 5 – 18. Participants meet once a month to receive an array of educational and enrichment activities designed to build self-esteem, character, and leadership skills in girls during their formative years.
Founded in 2015, over forty young girls are gifted with the services inside the Eastside Christian Development Center. Youth are recruited through word of mouth, social media and members’ referrals.
DivaStylez is a “sister circle” of inspiring women, where women can nurture each other while nourishing themselves.
“The organization is appreciative of the confidence Enterprise has in the work that Princess & Company is doing in the community. We are thankful and look forward to the partnership,” said CEO and Founder Alisa Pollard Seymore. Divastyles goals for the future include creating a lady bug chapter for ages 3-5 and becoming an international organization.
