The 17th DONNA Marathon Weekend concluded with a record 6,100 runners participating.  Amateur and professional athletes from all 50 states and nine countries laced up for multiple competitive race events.  This year’s Sunday marathon took runners through a double-loop course across the Jacksonville Beaches extending through several First Coast communities, including Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach and Jacksonville Beach.  Leading up to the event, more than 100 participants logged miles over the course of four months as part of The DONNA Foundation’s second annual 110-Mile-A-Day Challenge and virtual events. The challenge encouraged families and individuals to collectively walk one mile per day while focusing on living a healthy, fearless and sustainable life. Over 13,000 miles were logged from October 1, 2024 to February 4, 2024.

The DONNA Foundation has served nearly 20,000 families, securing more than $5.8 million in financial services and debt relief for those facing cancer challenges of survivorship, education and awareness. The 18th Annual DONNA Marathon Weekend is planned for January 31 – February 2, 2025.
