Israelites United In Christ (IUIC) Jacksonville, joined by IUIC Memphis, NOLA, Tallahassee, ATL, Miami, Mississippi, Orlando, Tampa, and a host of other warriors from across the nation recently marched on Moncrief to demonstrate solidarity and show Black men advocating to stop the violence. Their message to others is that people of color can unite without resorting to gangs.
“This is our way of letting our young men know that we are here and we plan to stay on the front line bringing Christ to the forefront to abide by the commandments for a successful life,” said IUIC recruit Damon Jones.
The group is a non violent bible based movement that does not condone any acts of violence against any race, ethnicity or gender. The organization’s ministry includes behind the bars prison program, community outreach, a food pantry, Men of Valor, missing person’s ministries, conflict resolutions and Saving Sarah’s Daughters, which address issues affecting women of color within our communities.
