Five new members were inducted into Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority Inc. Sigma Chapter at Peace Missionary Baptist Church. As part of their community service commitment, the new members visited and distributed gifts to clients at the Edgewood Nursing Home. Founded in 1932, Chi Eta Phi is comprised of Registered Nurses of color and provides service activities to the community such as nursing educations, heart health education, sickle cell walk, mental health walk, breast cancer walk and health symposiums in addition to elevating interest in the nursing profession.
