Building an Economic Legacy in Jacksonville

Jacksonville based Alpha Beta Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc,  hosted its annual Building Your Economic Legacy seminar Saturday, April 30, 2022. The keynote speakers included Chelsea Phillips and Jonathan Baety.  

Ms. Phillips is the owner of successful family insurance business and is a publicist for professional athletes as well as an event planner.  Ms. Phillips stressed the importance of life insurance.  She stated that insurance should be customized for the needs of the person seeking coverage and explained that each individual must have life insurance tailor-made to match their needs.  

Baety is a financial advisor with the worldwide Trentham, Santiago Group. His main focus was “the accumulation of wealth”. Baety provided attendees with a financial planning guide and emphasized the importance of investing instead of saving.  According to Baety, “one must make wise investments  to accumulate wealth”.  He urged those attending the seminar, to steer away from “bad habits financial habits such as gambling and betting.  

Both presenters were inspiring and motivational, leaving the participants enlightened.  The guest speakers  welcomed questions and answered them following the presentations.  Two gift cards are given away to those who correctly answered questions about the presentations.
