Highlighting the efforts of female participants, the Kemetic Empire/Urban Geoponics recognized Black women for their behind the scenes progress in the community with the first ‘Hidden Figures’ award. The Jacksonville based Kemetic Empire/Urban Geoponics organization works to resolve economic, education and health programs in Jacksonville and throughout the nation. This months awardees are Angela Seabrooks (inset) and Lauren McAliley Cephus (left).
