Ann Grimsley of AMG Uptown Salon held a “Sip & See” for clients to visit the salon and preview AMG’s services and the upcoming Ultimate Runway Fashion Show. The 6th annual fashion show showcases upscale fashions from local and national designers. Proceeds from the fashion show benefit HIV/AID’s. The 2015 Fashion show is slated for Saturday, June 27th which coincides with National HIV Testing Day. Models previewed fashion from local designers while guests mingled and networked with local politicians and customers. Recently, national publication Rolling Out ranked Jacksonville as having the third-highest HIV/AIDS rates in the country, behind only Miami and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. “HIV/AIDs is a serious topic for me. I have children and grandchildren that I want to protect. Jacksonville is number one in Florida and I want to continue instilling preventing and education for all Duval residents,” said Grimsley.
