The Jacksonville Urban League Young Professionals (JULYP) is among local organizations donating their time and energy for local back to school drives. Their event, held on the campus of Edward Waters University, including distribution of over 400 backpacks, notebooks, masks and personal care items and 1,000 pounds of food and groceries to the residents surrounding EWC.
The event also featured voter registration and colunteer sign-ups.
The Jacksonville Urban League Young Professionals (JULYP) is an Urban League volunteer auxiliary that targets young professionals ages 21-40 to empower their communities and change lives through the Urban League Movement through volunteerism, philanthropy and membership development. The JULYP is encouraging the community to make a difference and contribute to the progress of achieving equality. School starts in Duval County on Tuesday, August 20, 2021.
