An autographed eighth edition of the AKA’s history book: Priceless Pearls-Dimensions of Sisterhood and Service in Alpha Kappa Alpha, was presented to the principal and staff of James Weldon Johnson College Prep last week. As the nations first sorority for African- American women, the history book not only shares information on the sorority, but on the lives of African-America women in this country from 1908 until the presens. The sorority members attending the presentation represent a combined total of more than 160 years of service to the community
