Save the date to join in the ‘Middle Passage Ceremonies and Port Markers Project:  Remembering Ancestors,’ Tuesday, August 16th, at 11 a.m. in San Carlos Historic State Park, 715 San Fernando Street, Fernandina Beach. This initiative is to identify and motivate locals to place historical markers at the 175 ports in North Central and South America, the Caribbean and Europe where African ancestors arrived. For more info email marshaphelts@aol.com.
