The girlfriends weekend schedule of events included: ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives LIVE,’ hosted by Guy Fieri; ‘Tacos & Tequila,’ hosted by Aarón Sánchez and a hospitality suite meet and greet with New York restaurateur Melba Wilson owner of Melbas Southern Classic Restaurant.

The Eden Roc hotel was the location for ‘The Cookout,’ hosted by Chef JJ Johnson and radio host/actress/podcaster Angela Yee. Chef JJ cookout was a winner with spotlighting African American soul food dishes representing black culture historical dishes and cooking techniques.  Chefs on the scene grilled up Angus beef burgers, fried fish and lip smacking sweet potato balls!
