Banquet Commemorates Youth Honorees

Since 1980, El-Beth-El Development Center has honored dedicated individuals from the community for outstanding achievements, leadership and their contributions in helping Jacksonville build a stronger and healthier community. This year the center honored fourteen 14 students for outstanding academic achievement at the 42nd Annual Successful Role Model & Recognition Banquet at the Firefighters Banquet Hall. Each student received a $100 gift card and certificate of recognition. The centers goal is to promote literacy and higher education. This year’s speaker was Shamari Lewis, President of National Organization for Anti-Recidivism and Economics.
