$1,000 Start-Ups, Inc. is excited to announce the launch of its 7th Annual Entrepreneurship, Financial Management, and Life Skills Training Program for Entrepreneurs. Applications for the 2026 Cohort are currently being accepted from March 16, 2026, through April 30, 2026.
This comprehensive program is FREE and open to adults of all backgrounds, offering the essential education, support, and practical experience needed to successfully launch a new business or expand an existing one. All business types are encouraged to apply.
Classes will be held virtually via Zoom on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:00 PM, commencing on Monday, May 4, 2026.
The curriculum is led by professional business consultant Leah Ward-Lee, featuring expert guest speakers, and covers critical areas such as business planning, financial management, marketing, and the practicalities of business operations.
Cohort members who maintain good standing are eligible to receive up to $1,000 in business start-up or growth reimbursements to help kickstart their ventures.
