The River City Pearls kicked off National HBCU week by showing their support of current students of 12 HBCU’s represented by 26 members of the River City Pearls (RCP) who graduated from HBCUs. RCP takes pride in giving back to the HBCUs that provided a stellar education. RCP invited the community to take part in a week-long journey from September 20th to September 24th to show their love and appreciation to HBCUs. RCP began the donation process by donating $119.08 to each HBCU listed below. The total amount donated was $1,428.96.

In addition, each evening at 19:08 (7:08 PM), on FACEBOOK LIVE, a different University was featured by showing a tour of the University. There was also a battle of the bands. We are thankful to the community for their participation.
