Vicious Biscuit’s Limited-Time Fan Favorites Go Permanent with Menu Refresh

Mount Pleasant, SC (Dec. 11, 2025) – Vicious Biscuit, the award-winning Southern-made originator of bold biscuit creations and the rising fast-casual breakfast rebellion, is permanently welcoming back a pair of guest favorites and unveiling several craveable updates across its menu.

Effective today, the brand is adding two popular limited-time entrees to its permanent biscuit menu: The Firebird and the S.E.C. Additional upgrades include new sides, kids’ options and a spirited coffee experience, all available during regular operating hours at Vicious Biscuit locations nationwide.

Fan-Favorite Limited-Time Offerings Find a Home

The Firebird is an epic mashup of bold flavors that pushes the limits of what a chicken sandwich can be. A crispy fried chicken breast tossed in Frank’s Hot Sauce, then topped with two pieces of thick cut bacon, tangy pickles, and a drizzle of rich ranch dressing piled high in the middle of a scratch-made buttermilk biscuit makes for an extraordinary bite.

“The Firebird doesn’t tiptoe onto the menu; it kicks the door in,” said Michael Ball, vice president of operations at Vicious Biscuit. “It’s everything people love about Vicious Biscuit in one bite: big flavor, a little heat and absolutely no holding back.”

For those who are more health conscious, grilled or blackened chicken is available upon request; and the biscuit can be exchanged for a gluten free option.

Some brunch staples never go out of style. Vicious Biscuit has given this legendary sandwich a home on the main menu, stacked inside a golden, scratch-made buttermilk biscuit. Guests can dial up the heat with a cheddar jalapeño biscuit or keep it gluten-free without missing a beat. Guests also have the choice between a pork or chicken sausage.

 

“Bringing these items on full-time is our way of saying ‘we hear you’ to our guests,” continued McLaughlin. “If it’s the item you order again and again, it deserves a permanent home on the menu.”

More Comfort on the Side (and for the Kids)

Beyond biscuits, Vicious Biscuit is adding even more Southern comfort across the menu:

  • A bowl of food on a tableAI-generated content may be incorrect.White Cheddar Grits – Vicious Biscuit’s signature stone-ground grits get the cheesy treatment with shredded white cheddar melted on top. It’s simple, classic and the definition of cozy-in-a-bowl.
  • Pimento Cheese Grits – Creamy signature stone-ground grits topped with a scoop of house made pimento cheese that melts right in for a rich, over-the-top side.
  • Munchkin Platter Upgrade – On the Lil’ Vicious menu, kids (and parents) will now find a new chicken tender protein option available on the Munchkin Platter, creating more flexibility for younger guests – and picky eaters.

Small Tweaks, Big Flavor

Two existing fan favorites also received thoughtful flavor upgrades:

  • Fried Green ‘Maters – The craveable fried green tomato appetizer is now served with a double scoop of Vicious Biscuit’s signature house-made pimento cheese and topped with a pickled okra garnish. The change swaps in extra cheesy goodness in place of the former bacon jam accompaniment.
  • Animal Farm – Guests can now customize this classic even further with a bacon upgrade. The Animal Farm features a scratch-made buttermilk biscuit, white cheddar cheese and an egg cooked your way and is now offered with regular or Vicious candied bacon for a personalized, savory brunch experience.

“We’re constantly asking how we can make our most popular items even better,” continued Ball. “Sometimes it’s as simple as adding more of what people love.”

Streamlined to Spotlight What Guests Love Most

As part of the refresh, Vicious Biscuit has also streamlined less-ordered items across its Sharables, Biscuit, Lil’ Vicious and Lightly Vicious categories to make room for guest favorites and to keep operations running fast and efficient.

Coffee With a Little Attitude

The menu evolution also extends to the beverage lineup with the rollout of Spiked Coffee. Tested in the Summerville location, it’s ready to make its systemwide debut. Guests can now enjoy their drip coffee with the option to add a shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream, Kahlua or Jameson Irish Whiskey for an indulgent brunch-time sip that pairs perfectly with Vicious Biscuit’s signature dishes.
