Superbowl winning coach Tom Coughlin and team recently celebrated 20 years of the Jay Fund Foundations annual Wine Tasting Gala on the field at EverBank Stadium for the first time.
Coach Coughlin and the Duval community raised $370,000 to help local families tackling childhood cancer. Funds assist with comprehensive financial, emotional, and practical support to help keep families in their homes, put food on their tables, keep the lights on, and so much more. Thousands of attendees sampled culinary dishes from the area’s best restaurants as well as hundreds of specialty artisanal wines. The annual fundraiser brought together wine enthusiasts, gourmets, philanthropists and friends to support families navigating the overwhelming financial and emotional hardships that accompany a childhood cancer diagnosis. The event featured dishes from top restaurants, with a blend of classic southern comfort foods, flavors of the coast and a dash of international flair. An exclusive silent auction was also held that included rare wine, sports memorabilia, and travel packages.
To date, the foundation has provided over $24 million in assistance and helped over 5,600 families. For more details about the foundation, visit tcjayfund.org.
