Shown above are members of the Buffalo Soldiers Historical Society (L-R) Mike Rodgers, Gregory Williams, Christopher Hill and Till Tillmon.

The Jacksonville Veterans Day Parade is one of the largest parades in the Southeast featuring thousands of Duval County residents lining the parade route with various organizations to show gratitude for our service men and women. Paraders stood along Bay Street and waved flags, cheered, and applauded. This years’ Grand Marshal was the oldest U.S. Veteran, 101 year-old Sollie Mitchell.
