This past weekend, the Jazzy Divas of J-Ville hosted a Red Hat Society “Christmas in July” Gala.
The event was held at the Doubletree Airport with more than 100 Red Hat Ladies from surrounding Florida, South Carolina and Georgia areas. This was the 2nd Annual Christmas in July event presented by the chapter. Ladies donned their favorite shade of red and purple to join in fun, fellowship, door prizes and of course dancing to the music by DJ Brown Sugar.
The Jazzy Divas of J-Ville not only enjoy having fun, they also contribute to the community. During the month of December, they provide gifts to the residents of the Northside Nursing Home & Rehab Center.
The Red Hat Society is a global society of about 50,000 women that connects, supports, and encourages women in their pursuits of fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment and fitness. The organization was founded in 1998 for women age 50 and beyond, but now open to women of all ages. Today, there are over 20,000 chapters in the U.S.,
