Noted naturalist and healthy eating chef Dennis “Mr. Natural,” lost his battle with colon caner on march 18, 2019. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Charlotte Dwight Stewart and Dennis Taylor Stewart, Sr. and was a graduate of New Stanton High School and Howard University where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Zoology. Through his culinary skills, he was able to bring joy with food to people such as, Reebie Jackson, Stephanie Mills, Maya Angelou and many others.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Alice Dunbar Stewart, daughter Cherub Christina Stewart, granddaughter Amalachukwu Ada Onugha, son Eros Taylor Stewart and daughter in love Shayla Anderson and son in spirit Chukwuemeka Ike Onugha; brother Michael Stewart and sister in love Lydia Stewart; Aunt ydia Wooden, and other cousins, niceses nephews, and a community of loving friends and extended family.
A tribute to his life will be held on Saturday March 30th at Noon at The Ritz Theatre and Museum, 829 N Davis St, Jacksonville, FL 32202
