Raines Dominates in Northwest Classic

The Vikings (5-0) were led by a five-touchdown performance from senior quarterback T.J.Cole. The Vikings scored on their third offensive play, a 65-yard pass from Cole to Ethan Sherman, and never looked back.

Sherman caught a pair of touchdown passes. Senior running back Tadarius Washington caught a touchdown pass, as did Kelvin Brown Jr. Tisean Haynes ran for a 1-yardtouchdown late in the second quarter to give Raines a 39-0 advantage. Ziyon Butler caughta 48-yard touchdown from reserve freshman quarterback Sa’mon Ellison-Morgan tocomplete the scoring.

Raines has won 21 straight regular season games. The Vikings lead the all-time series 42-14over Ribault.

Though the game was one-sided, the community spirit was experienced by supporters from both schools.

Prior to kickoff, Miss Ribault Marlee-Deve Glover and Miss Raines Tremyiah Edwardsparticipated in the traditional flower exchange.
