Women from throughout the country trekked to South Florida for Oprah Winfrey’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus Tour kick-off in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Thousands of fans entered the sold out BB&T Center energized and ready to hear Oprah promote a day of mental and spiritual wellness. Attendees received gift bags that included a 2020 vision exercise workbook and bathroom items. Workbook pages included challenges to journal your thoughts, nutrition, movement, environment and your intentions for the New Year. A lunch was provided and VIP photo opportunities with the legendary talk show host was possible for $5,000. When introduced to the stage, women gasped and were in awe of seeing Oprah live and in person. Oprah began her talk to the audience with her weight lost challenges and how for more than 25 years, her show gave her a platform to promote others while engaging in her own spiritual journey. She said, “We all want to get better in our lives and be the highest expression of ourselves. You have to put your life in focus and focus on what you want to be.” She continued, “Stop resisting going against the grain of your life.”
Oprah Winfrey has teamed up with Weight Watchers to bring full day wellness events to nine U.S. cities to motivate audiences across the country to make 2020 the year of renewal and celebrate all we are meant to be. The kick-off also featured an interview with Oscar and Grammy winning artist Lady Gaga. Oprah also highlighted Grammy winning gospel singer Tamela Mann’s wellness story as she shared how taking charge of her own health created a powerful ripple effect of wellness.
