As part of the National Leadership Conference held in Jacksonville, last week, the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., hosted 100 Young men from Jacksonville and Tallahassee during its Annual Youth Leadership Conference and Mentorship Program at Edward Waters College.

The theme for this year’s conference was “Leveraging Our Collective Resources for Impact…Saving Young Mens Lives, One at a Time”.

As one of the Fraternity’s signature community events, the free conference offered workshops and mentorship to the young men ages 13-18. Facilitated by more than 25 Omega Psi Phi Fraternity members, workshops include hygiene and dressing for success, STEM/College Prep, good study habits, goal setting and achievement, Manhood 101 social and personal responsibility, the legal system and you, and conflict resolution. Experts from industries ranging from law to health care facilitated the workshops for the 103 year old Greek letter fraternity.
