Mayor Lenny Curry recently appointed Marsha Oliver as Director of Public Affairs. Oliver currently serves as Chief of Public Relations and Marketing for the Duval County Public Schools.
A Jacksonville native, Oliver graduated from Ribault High School and earned a BA in Public Relations from Florida A&M University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
She has spent more than 20 years helping to advance the communications and marketing goals of numerous corporate, non-profit, educational, and philanthropic organizations
Oliver’s salary in this new role will be $150,000.
