The largest beer festival in North Florida was held at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena Friday, May 20th, From 4-10 p.m. attendees at the 8th Annual Craft and Import Beer Festival had the opportunity to drink unlimited beer, taste food samples from 20 different local restaurants and hear live music from local bands. This year the festival added the Beer Aficionado ticket giving real beer enthusiasts the opportunity to leave work early and show up at 4 p.m. for a private beer sampling event and discounts on beer dinners held the week of the event. A gift bag was waiting for attendees loaded with gifts from local and national breweries and sponsors. Over 40 participating breweries brought 300 different beers to taste.
