FleetCon 2026, the 15th Annual Fleet DJs Music Conference, brought together influential DJs, filmmakers, artists, broadcasters, podcasters, entrepreneurs and entertainment professionals from across the country and the surrounding Duval corridors to Jacksonville. Hosted by Fleet DJs CEO Klassik and Director of Media Relations Tiea Whitaker, the conference featured the ‘Producers & Writers Bootcamp,’ artist listening sessions, live showcases, networking events and industry panels covering music, film, radio, podcasting and entrepreneurship. Signature events included the Black Ice & Blue Lights Adult Prom and the annual Backpack Giveaway, providing local students with school supplies ahead of the new school year. Jacksonville native Jamar Breaker, known professionally as ‘Breaka,’ was one of the conference’s breakout artists. The Stanton College Preparatory School graduate energized audiences during the DJ Cook Up Festival with music from his latest album, Theme Musical, highlighting Jacksonville’s growing influence in the music industry. “FleetCon 2026 fostered meaningful connections, professional development and collaboration across the music and entertainment industries,” said attendee and conference speaker Valerie Denise Jones, Big Media.
Featured speakers and participants included Adam Madrid of the Jacksonville Film Office, Monique Madrid, founder and CEO of the LOL JAX Film Festival, Cydney Wright of News4JAX and Billy Covington of the legendary R&B group Hi-Five, best known for the platinum-selling hit “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game).” Shown is Breaka on stage showcasing his music at FleetCon 2026.
