Meet the Youngest Ever Black Entrepreneur to Have Products Sold in Walmart

Lily Adeleye

By Victor Omondi (Source: https://yourblackworld.net) – Lily Adeleye is a name you’ve probably heard of. If you didn’t hear about her for founding the girls’ fashion brand Lily Frilly, you probably heard about her when she went down in history as the youngest person ever to have own brand products sell at Target stores across the nation. She’s made history again, now at the age of six, by becoming the youngest Black owner of a brand to have products selling in Walmart stores.

Lilly and her entrepreneur mother Courtney Adeleye are very happy about the achievement. They’re hoping that it inspires other young girls not to give up on their dreams, hoping that they stay on their dream path, and doing so without losing their cuteness.

“Lily Frilly started out as a brand my daughter Lily and myself created, as I have always believed it’s important to let your children follow their passions, whether that be art, sports or in this case, growing a business,” Courtney said in a statement.

Courtney is very happy that the Lily Frilly brand has gone beyond just a business started by a young person. Of course, it’s quite refreshing to see your little girl follow her dream, but how much more when you see that fellow children are getting to love the products of that dream.
