JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Tuesday, December 6th, 2023 — Rethreaded, a Jacksonville-founded nonprofit, celebrated their Springfield neighborhood recently with a “Springfield Saturday” party and concert featuring local performer Mama Blue. “We love our home in Springfield, and we couldn’t be more grateful to our neighbors for their love and support,” said Kristin Keen, Founder and CEO of Rethreaded, “Thanks to everyone who attended and to Mama Blue for an incredible concert.” Mama Blue performed for two hours, playing both familiar favorites and her own original material. The “Sultry Sister of Soul” was born and raised in Jacksonville, and is a fan and supporter of Rethreaded’s work to restore choice and opportunity to the survivors of human trafficking. Springfield Saturday welcomed 100 attendees, to shop Retheaded’s line of unique, survivor-crafted goods and to enjoy food and beverage vendors, while mingling and networking with supporters and volunteers.
