The Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation in collaboration with the Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. hosted 300+ guests to their annual Black and White Ball XO Valentine’s Edition black tie formal affair. The event raised funds for the construction of the Dr. Charles B. McIntosh Community Achievement Center named in honor of Jacksonville’s first African-American pediatrician which will be located on Moncrief Rd. The Community Achievement Center will act as a community outreach center focusing on programs such as Life Skills Training, Financial Literacy, Health Education, Leadership Training and Information Technology. The casino-themed evening at the World Golf Village in Saint Augustine was filled with games, fine dining, dancing, live band, DJ, and a raffle of an array of items. The Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. was chartered and established February 27, 1925.
