The FLAJAX Club enjoyed an evening with the Jacksonville Symphony as The Pops Series showcased the Queens of Rock & Soul: Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin.
“We try to take time out to be on the scene. We may be a club for men but we have to remember our ladies need a night out too,” said club president James Andrews. The FLAJAX Club was established in 1930 by a group of successful and prominent African American businessmen and leaders in the community.  It is a club that believes in having fun and enjoying themselves as a social club and, yet be concerned about civic duties and responsibilities within the community. The club has been on the front line for many years serving our community and has held its Annual Christmas Gala for the past 90 years.  This year’s Christmas Gala will be held on December 23, 2023 at the DoubleTree Hotel.
